I have found that each session may be a bit different. We may focus on current life circumstances, process childhood trauma, or make goals for the future. What you can expect from each therapy session is to be heard, seen, validated and sometimes gently challenged.
Anxiety, depression and trauma can be difficult to understand and process through. When you begin therapy, you will begin to understand your past, enjoy activities in your life, engage with friends and hobbies, forgive, and feel content with your life. I approach therapy with a warm and empathic environment, and trained in DBT and EMDR.
