Trauma, PTSD and Anxiety can be chronic conditions. I provide people with education on the neuroscience of these conditions in order to increase self compassion and understanding of symptoms. From there we work on skills and strategies for coping and reducing any negative impact the symptoms may have. People generally see improvement in a month or two but may choose to attend therapy for longer.
