I am a Marriage and Family Therapist and Chemical Dependency Counselor with six years of experience. I spent more than ten years working with veterans and their families, coping with deployment, PTSD, and family disruption throughout their military careers. I utilize a wide range of modalities such as Client-Centered Therapy, Couples Therapy, Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), Family Systems, Family Therapy, and Structural Family Therapy. I firmly believe that people are people regardless of their chosen labels or the ones society puts on them.
I am very straightforward with my approach and don't sugarcoat my words, but it does not mean I am harsh and uncaring. I won't yell and expect the same respect; I will listen fully with love and kindness and speak to you with heart. Sometimes the truth may seem painful to hear, but it will lead you to a better mental state and life.
