Freud said, "Therapy is a love cure." We will explore how perceived lack of interpersonal safety blocks the love we want. We will discover unacknowledged aspects of your being and delight in your "true" self. My short-term psychodynamic approach allows your core self to find peace & confidence.
Psycho-neurobiology shows us that emotional connection with others along with mindfulness activates neural growth and healing in our brains. My work is informed by AEDP (Emotion, body, & experiential focus), Internal Family Systems (parts work), Emotionally Focused Therapy, Jungian depth psychology, neurobiology, & brainspotting (a form of EMDR) for trauma.
