As a Contemplative Psychotherapist, I attune to the inherent wisdom of my clients. We get confused and disconnected from ourselves throughout life. The disconnect is not the problem - its the invitation to meet ourselves wholly and completely. Despite diagnoses like Anxiety, Depression and PTSD and the pain of those - there is an inner glimmer, suggesting that a different way is possible. Together we tend that inner glimmer and support you in feeling a deeper connection to your body, your mind, your spirit.
The foundation of my work is the development of self-compassion, blending East and West Psychology and incorporating the wisdom of mindfulness and the somatic experience. I have extensive training in trauma treatment and draw heavily from IFS - which builds an authentic connection with the Self. Dream work and depth psychology will also be incorporated.
Life is challenging - we can't get around that, but in the midst of pain we can learn to hold ourselves tenderly - maybe like we have never done before.
