I am a licensed clinical social worker providing a wide array of therapeutic treatments through a trauma-informed lens. Listening to your needs non-judgmentally and supporting you in building hope, purpose, and holistic healing of both the mind and body is my consistent approach as a therapist. I am passionate about working with individuals most impacted by various forms of oppression, adversity, and exposure to trauma. Through personal and professional experience, I have also grown most comfortable working with first-generation/immigrant persons as well as those who identify within the BIPOC community.
My approach to providing support to my clients varies according to each person's unique experiences, life circumstances, needs, and goals. Through an eclectic but evidence-based approach, I primarily utilize third-wave behavioral techniques such as ACT and DBT.
With careful consideration, I also implement body-oriented therapies for those who experience somatic symptomatology that derive from chronic stress, trauma, and repressed affect.
