Under enough stress, all humans make adaptations to survival. These survival strategies do a great job when they are first learned, but when continued outside of the context of their creation, they may reenact + reinforce patterns that are no longer helpful. We work together to identify where patterns began, what behaviors/beliefs were learned for emotional and physical survival + how we can create new ways of interacting in the world that feel more aligned + sustainable.
I have a wide array of experience working with varying adaptive responses including but not limited to: Flashbacks, Anxiety, Depression, Food Restriction + 'Binging', Insomnia, Isolation, Chronic Fear, Loneliness, Negative Self Beliefs, Chaotic Substance Use, Avoidance, Dissociation - Relational Stress, Anger, Hopelessness, Grief.

Together we will hike mild to moderate trails, deepening our sense of self and relationship to place by engaging our senses.
