Hello, I'm Caroline! If you're reading this, you've already taken the first step for your mental health - finding a therapist. I am ready to partner with you to meet you where you are with compassion and non-judgment. As your therapist it is my goal to help you make sense of confusion caused by mental illness or life's circumstances and reach your goals for your true self!
I received my MA in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from The University of Alabama in 2019. I have been licensed as a professional mental health counselor since 2021 and as an addiction counselor since 2024.
During the COVID-19 pandemic I worked in a mandated substance use rehabilitation program where I gained valuable experience working with clients with various substance use disorders, PTSD, grief, anxiety, depression, emotional regulation challenges, criminogenic needs, and relationship/family problems.
I utilize cognitive behavioral therapy, psychoanalysis, and emotion-focused therapy approaches to clarify connections between thoughts and beliefs, behaviors, and the unconscious that drives our habits and patterns.
