Telehealth Only. I am licensed in Connecticut and Maine. People come to therapy for a variety of issues, including struggles with transitions, PTSD, anxiety, and challenges at work or school. The first step is to work together to establish what your goals are for therapy. I have 30+ years clinical experience and am trained in various therapy modalities. I work with adults and young adults 22 +. My specialties are: 1) providing trauma-focused treatment, and 2) working with people facing life transitions or adjustments to new chapters in life, both of which can create stress or anxiety. I am trained in EMDR as well as DBT.
My style is to be warm and open, with a sense of humor, and with a desire to listen carefully and understand your experience and what you need, on a deep level. Length of treatment is determined by your particular needs and goals.
Although the focus of my practice is on individual experiences, people's inner lives and emotional and mental health - no matter where they are from or how they show up - I am committed to anti-racism, social justice and Queer alliance, and work within this overriding personal framework and ongoing path of learning.
