I am a Board Certified Registered Art Therapist and Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor. My approach to the therapeutic process is based on creating a healthy, non-judgmental therapeutic relationship valued on authenticity, compassion, and creativity. As a trained art therapist and counselor, I use a range of modalities to tailor the therapy to your needs. My belief is that the creative process can develop a deeper understanding and connection to ourselves which can bring forth growth, transformation and healing.
I have experience working with clients who struggle with school related issues, relationship problems, transitions, depression, anxiety, and other mental health disorders. In addition to art therapy interventions, I use other counseling techniques to help express things that are often unable to be put into words.
The studio space is unique in that it is housed within a working artist colony. The office is private and the building is secured. There are no walk-ins welcomed and it is not handicap accessible. Scheduling is available throughout the week including weekends.
