You have taken the vulnerable step to begin therapy, which takes a lot of courage. You may feel on edge, exhausted, and frustrated; or the opposite: disengaged, numb and lethargic. Often these feelings stem from stressors, being "the rock" for everyone else, or even childhood trauma. As a trauma therapist and Certified First Responder Counselor, my goal is to connect with you earn your trust and help you achieve remission with your mental health symptoms. I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and can currently incorporate this highly effective modality into my practice.
My first priority is to build connection and trust with you. My specialty is working with first responders, men's mental health, survivors of sexual trauma and PTSD. Through mindful awareness of both the mind and body, the impacts of trauma and chronic stress can be healed. Myself and my therapy dog, Conrad, are excited to get to know you.
