Anxiety, depression, suicidal ideation, family conflict, and navigating life challenges are just a few of the problem areas I help clients with. Together, we will work to create a trusting client/therapist relationship. My experiences in the medical, clinical, and outreach settings has allowed me to become well versed in a variety of therapeutic techniques such as solution focused therapy, motivational interviewing, and cognitive behavioral therapy.
Because therapy is a joint effort between the client and therapist I believe finding the right 'match' is necessary. My ultimate goal in a therapeutic relationship is to help clients learn to help themselves and not to simply know all the answers.
