About
Fostering growth, hope, and freedom is the heartbeat behind my work with clients. Mr. Fred Rodgers once said “Anything that’s human is mentionable, and anything that is mentionable can be more manageable.” I wholeheartedly believe the essence of that quote, and I use that theme in counseling to help you, your loved one, or your child make (life, etc.) more manageable so that one cannot just survive but thrive. Although I work intensively with my clients, my approach is flexible, evidence-based, interpersonal, warm, and client-driven.
I work with children, adolescents, adults, families, couples, and groups. I am trained in a variety of therapeutic approaches and techniques including Play Therapy, and Child-Parent Relationship Training (CPRT). I also enjoy working with diverse populations, and I am able to incorporate faith-based concepts into counseling if requested or desired.
Meeting you, your child, or your loved one wherever you/they are at while collaborating together in a trusted, nurturing, and non- judgmental way is where our work will begin. Things get better, and that is possible. Please contact me by phone or email for additional information.
