I feel best suited to work with adult men and women who struggle with depression, anxiety, and/or a sense of powerlessness which limits their participation in life whether it be work, love or play. I am particularly interested in working with adults who are aware of sexual misuse in their childhood or adolescence which may be continuing to have influence on their current situation. I want to provide a space where the unique stories of each client may be named, felt and explored in light of their current relationships for the purpose of finding hope for the future.
It is a thrill to me to help folks get increasing freedom from the long term impact of neglect and sexual harm by unpacking events and patterns from the past that are effecting their ability to cope or thrive today. I use a combination of Trauma Focused Narrative Therapy and Brainspotting informed by an accumulation of personal and clinical experience.
