About
The heart of my work is the compassionate and authentic approach I've developed over the years, helping people to find peace of mind and compassion for themselves and others, one day at a time. If you've experienced the trauma of abandonment or abuse, grief or loss, I can guide your path of recovery with understanding, care and healing. I can help you find more emotional stability in your life and your relationships through a holistic approach by getting to the root of the issue and taking into consideration seven pillars of life: mental, physical, emotional, spiritual, financial, occupational and social.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 20 years of experience in the counseling and mental health field, I provide skilled evidence-based counseling to adults and couples. My approach is practical, collaborative, and strengths-based and my specialties are Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, EMDR and the Gottman Method for couples.
I look forward to continuing to touch the lives of the Western North Carolina community and welcome the opportunity to partner with you on your journey of healing and growth!
