Welcome! My name is Carol Rios Soto and I am a Licensed Mental Heath Counselor in the state of Florida. I work with people from childhood to adulthood. Mainly, I work with people who have had to endure difficult times either with trauma, crippling anxiety, depression and overall darkness who are looking to find a light. I use a multi-system approach with techniques from IFS, DBT, ACT and CBT - mainly I believe it depends on the person and where they are to determine the approach I use.
I ensure to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where clients are free to be themselves without fear. I help them navigate the waters as their co-captain but they are ultimately the captain.
Everyone says they want to help, but I believe it comes second nature for me. I believe people aren't broken, just lost.
