I enjoy working with couples to learn to resolve conflict, and with adults and teens to discover their strengths, to release their potential to lead to the creation of stronger relationships and greater success in life. I encourage individuals to take control of their lives by enabling them to direct their own thoughts, feelings and behavior, thus experiencing personal power. As Clinical Director of the Family Counseling Center, I help clients learn how to value themselves and others.
In stressful times, we can experience anxiety and depression. Through the use of cognitive skills, you can change your life. Learning to understand yourself and those around you, enables you to make the changes you face. You can learn to listen to both your head and your heart and be in control of your life.
This world can be hard. Even for those with many gifts. I bring a unique perspective to the counseling process. Understanding individuals from their own viewpoints enables me to better assist in the situations they face. I credit my 40 year marriage and my co-parenting of my two grown daughters as providing my greatest education.
