I specialize in working with children and adolescents targeting ADHD, behavioral issues, anger management, depression, and anxiety. I also offer psychological evaluations addressing possible ADHD, learning disabilities, processing deficits, dyslexia, or emotional/behavioral issues. I provide individual counseling, parent coaching, and psychological evaluations. I worked as a consultant and Learning Specialist at The Westminster Schools.
I received my undergraduate degree at Texas A&M University and my PhD in School Psychology at Pennsylvania State University. I have worked with children and adolescents for over 30 years.
I work with individuals in a respectful, warm and inviting manner. I approach difficulties utilizing a holistic, individualized approach. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is incoporated into my work. Mindset is multi-disciplinary - offering speech/language therapy, evaluations, tutoring, and therapy.
The goal of therapy is to produce change resulting in a more functional, respectful family environment. Often, parents report, "I feel like I have my child back". If your child receives a psycho-evaluation, you will be provided information regarding your child's unique learning style and strategies to help them reach their academic potential.
