I chose the text, UNDERSTANDING YOUR TEEN by Jim Burns because it is comprehensive and foundational as well as functional. The author tackles the realities of our day including cyber-bullying, self-injury, dating violence, depression, etc. Dr. Burns shows how parents can shape behavior and character, navigate social media challenges, and resolve conflict healthily
