I help clients heal from the impact of life's difficult and stressful experiences by strengthening connection with themselves and others. I chose the name of my counseling practice intentionally because it reflects this belief. Aspen trees often grow in large clonal colonies, connected through a shared root system. In much the same way, I believe we are wired for connection. When connections—to ourselves, loved ones, or communities—become wounded, strained, or disrupted, we can experience emotional pain and feel disconnected. Counseling offers a supportive space to heal, restore those connections, and move toward greater wholeness.
I have received training in trauma-informed, attachment-based therapy such as EMDR, TBRI and interpersonal neurobiology. These modalities help the brain form new and more positive neural pathways, which can lead to increased self-regulation, calmer responses to stress, and greater authenticity in relationships.
