My passion is to give my clients hope; there is light at the end of the tunnel, but we cannot always find our way alone. My personal journey enhances my clinical training, enabling me to come alongside my clients in a supportive relationship of trust, empathy, and compassion to collaboratively navigate the difficult twists and turns of life. I seek to honor the unique design and potential of each individual as I help them explore their personal story, discover new ways to live effectively in the present, and embrace the possibilities of the future. My mini-goldendoodle, Barney, provides emotional support to my clients.
I specialize in individual and groups with partners of sex addicts recovering from betrayal trauma. I also counsel women of all ages, addressing: identity; self-esteem; depression; anxiety; abuse recovery; codependency; spiritual crisis; grief; life transitions; divorce recovery; parenting children and young adults; single parenting. I am trained in EMDR.
In addition to counseling, I have authored The Single Mom's Devotional (Regal, 2010), and numerous magazine articles. I also enjoy a speaking ministry. If my clients desire, I willingly integrate spiritual issues and biblical truth in counseling.
