My focus is helping you find solutions to difficult problems and to help you reach your goals in as short a period of time as necessary. I work with you collaboratively to help you make the changes you want to make. In addition to being a solution-focused therapist, I have a client-centered approach to therapy. This means that your goals are the important goals. With your permission, I also utilize hypnotherapy processes to help you with what you want help changing. I have the utmost respect for you and your process.
Hypnotherapy is highly effective with issues like stress reduction, quitting smoking and other addictions or with weight management. Hypnotherapy helps create lasting change if you suffer from PTSD or have experienced trauma. Other issues that can be resolved are insomnia, fears, phobias and the management of pain.
I was trained in CRAFT (Community Reinforcement and Family Training) Parts I & II. This is a type of treatment for concerned family members of substance-abusers. . I am a pet lover who finds health and healing with animals. Your special pet is welcome in our sessions. Together we can find you the relief that you seek; it is there waiting to be discovered.
