About
What if, we all possessed the skill set to build strength, resiliency and hope in our lives? Working in the Co-occurring disorder and substance abuse field for many years, I know that it is possible to heal wounded spirits and repair lives. Working with the HIV(+) and LGBT community, emphasizes my belief, that all people are born, "good enough." I can help you remove the barriers to remembering this.
Using relational and psychodynamic psychotherapy, we will explore how you can build greater confidence and self-esteem. You will develop new skill sets to transform negative self talk into motivational decision making. Victor Frankl said, The last of the human freedoms...is to choose one's attitude." You can choose.
I am currently the Clinical Supervisor and Coordinator of the Outpatient Program at Tarzana Treatment Centers. Prior to that I was the Coordinator of the Mental Health Department at Tarzana Treatment Centers for 10 years. In addition, I was on the Adjunct Faculty at Phillips Graduate School for 8 years.
