Managing the demands of everyday life is increasingly challenging in today's world. Many folks are consumed by the demands / needs / expectations of others and fail to prioritize their own physical, mental, emotional and spiritual well-being. As time passes, ignored (or minimized) internal struggles negatively impact our relationships, joy for life and even physical health. Appropriately assigned psychotherapy can provide clarity and resolution to issues that may feel overwhelming. Restoring hope, confidence, dignity and purpose arms one with the tools for a more rich and peaceful tomorrow.
My therapeutic approach is to maintain a climate of safety and non-judgement promoting the most meaningful, candid and productive therapy for my clients. Sessions include role play, cognitive restructuring, coping skill-building, relaxation techniques and check-in treating anxiety, depression, trauma, adult child-parent issues and perinatal mental health.
Many clients reports that the most difficult part in seeking therapy is that first contact. At my professional core is the sincere belief that no "problem" is too trivial nor too great to be addressed. We are a product of our prior experiences, culture, and societal underpinnings.
