I have been trained in using EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing), a unique therapy strategy that can be effective, quick and promotes healing from within. I have also had training in Trauma-Focused Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectic Behavior Therapy, and Social Thinking, and am open to other non conventional practices.
Developing and practicing social skills in children can be a struggle for parents today, along with building confidence and coping strategies to express and deal with negative strong emotions. Youth and adults alike are able to make changes and grow when there is a desire to better themselves, and develop stronger relationships with family and friends.
