I approach therapy as a way of making sense of past events, understanding how they inform patterns and behaviors in the present, and using fresh interpretations to facilitate change. This might mean rewiring the brain somewhat by building new narratives around painful memories and negative beliefs, or by nurturing the parts of you that have been wounded by difficult experiences. Growth looks different for everyone, and together we will build a therapeutic plan that acknowledges the complexity of your personal ecosystem.
I have specific experience working with university students, artists, writers, and those interested in the creative process of re-imagining the self. I am also trained in EMDR and trauma informed therapies, and I will often collaborate with other healers to address any cooccurring issues in the body.
Reach out with any questions and we can schedule a virtual consultation to discuss your path forward.
