I help young people understand their strengths and challenges, discover healthy ways to express and manage their needs, and accept support from those who care about them. Many lack important skills and resources to navigate the demands of school, relationships, or stressful life events, instead becoming "stuck" in unhealthy or ineffective behavioral patterns that are concerning and confusing to others. Through our work and collaboration with family and other care providers, my patients frequently experience significant improvements in their self-awareness, confidence, communication, decision-making, and/or social interactions.
I provide individual and family psychotherapy for children, teens, and young adults who struggle with emotional coping and self-regulation, organization, and relationships. I also offer consultation regarding parenting and educational approaches for young people with diverse neurodevelopmental styles and behavioral/emotional challenges.
