I am a solution focused, clinical social worker who seeks to help my clients restore balance within themselves and their environment. Establishing realistic goals helps to pave the journey we take together between client and therapist. It is inevitable for life to provide some type of challenge and I am here to help my clients navigate their struggles utilizing a variety of coping skills developed during our sessions. My career path began with child welfare case management, transitioned into clinical work in substance abuse counseling, experienced with family focused counseling and currently medical social work.
I am a solution focused therapist that believes in establishing strong boundaries which empowers clients to live to their best potential. I have worked with children, families and individuals in an outpatient mental health setting.
I provide a warm and compassionate environment to promote a space for healing and individual growth. I work with all ages from young children to older adults. I believe that active listening, empathy and validation in a solution focused session provides a positive foundation for effective change.
