I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California who has been practicing since 2012. I identify as a bilingual, bicultural, woman of color, born in Tijuana, MX, and raised in San Diego, CA. I specialize in treating teens and adults seeking support and tools to manage symptoms of anxiety, depression, and difficult life transitions.
I use various modalities and will tailor my approach to your individual needs. My experience comes from multiple schools of thought including cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT). mindfulness-based practice, Trauma-focused CBT, and solution-focused treatment.
My passion is working with the Latinx community and "first-timers" in therapy. However, I welcome clients of all backgrounds, cultures, and races.
