Hello! I'm Carmen, an Independent Licensed Social Worker. My ideal client has a sense of humor, flexibility and a willingness to change. While starting therapy can be daunting, with the right therapist, counseling can be so beneficial. Good job taking those first steps in finding the right fit for you. I use a person-centered approach, so we work as a team and start where you want to.

I have been practicing for nearly twenty years. I have experience with adults, teens, families and children, in the general population and those with trauma or severe mental illness. I engage in a strength based, person centered approach, incorporating problem solving and mindfulness strategies, Cognitive Behavioral (CBT), and play therapy.
