About Dr. Santos: I have been in practice in Connecticut for over 30 years. I have worked in out-patient and in-patient settings, a college counseling center and with a number of employee assistance programs. I have a breath of knowledge that is quite diverse, covering the full spectrum of mental health issues. My commitment is to provide a highly professional, confidential service in an environment that is safe and promotes personal growth and healing for any number of emotional and other mental health difficulties. I am bilingual-bicultural in Spanish and English. I see individuals, couples and families.
I treat the full spectrum of mental health issues: Depressive Disorders including Post Partum Depression, Anxiety, Panic Attacks, Eating Disorders, relationship issues, Anger/Stress Management Psychological, Sexual, Physical Trauma,Grief and loss, Life/Career Transitions, Drug and Alcohol Assessments, Relapse Prevention Work, Domestic Violence, Adult Learning Disorders and Attention Problems,Elder Care Issues.
Psychodynamic in orientation, solution focused and Cognitive Behavioral approaches, treatments specifically geared to each individual. I do not participate with any insurance plan, if you have out of network coverage I will provide the necessary paperwork for you to process your own reimbursements directly.
