My name is Carmen Carl, and I’m a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in the Sacramento, CA area working with clients statewide via telehealth. I work with preteens, adolescents, and adults using evidence-based practices to help foster growth by allowing my clients to explore themselves without fear of judgment. I emphasize empathy, respect, and validation, ensuring that my client feels heard and understood.
I have found that my style of therapy is a good fit for individuals of all ages and is effective for a wide range of conditions involving emotional dysregulation, interpersonal difficulties, and self-destructive behaviors. Anxiety, depression, self-destructive behavior, substance abuse, and impulsivity are a few areas I feel comfortable working with.
