Hi! My name is Carma. I have the requisite clinical degrees, trainings and certifications, but more importantly, I know what it is like to survive trauma. Hence, my clinical approach to therapy has a different spin: it's rooted in peer therapy. Peer counseling means I'm not using sessions to process my "stuff". Rather, the peer-lived experience offers a way to resonate with the clinical knowledge I share. I use carefully chosen stories of trauma healing journeys, along with standard therapeutic interventions, as ways to engage with clients. I have additional peers on my team.

I work with all types of clients, but my best work is done with people who have struggled with trauma: Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), Complex/Compound PTSD, Dissociative Disorders, Anxiety Disorders, Insomnia and Sleep Disorders, and those enduring Chronic Pain and/or serious medical/chronic conditions.
