Maybe you've been overwhelmed for a while, or just not like yourself lately. You want to feel better, but feel held back by anxious thoughts and emotions that are hard to manage. Sometimes in life, we get stuck, reliving a difficult past or worried about an uncertain future. I like to help people get back to living in the present. Maybe that's by processing through parts of your story, learning to cope with anxiety, or having someone alongside you as you navigate big life changes. It may look like letting go of shame, or gaining new perspectives on yourself and your relationships. We can work through it together at your pace.
Practicing from a person-centered, integrative approach, I incorporate techniques from evidence-based modalities to best support each client's unique needs. As a trauma-informed therapist, I'm attuned to the way that painful past experiences can show up in our lives—mentally, emotionally, and physically. I will meet you with understanding and compassion.
When you're used to carrying things on your own, reaching out for support can feel daunting, but it's a real sign of strength. I strive to offer a safe and nonjudgmental therapy space, being my authentic self so that you can feel free to do the same.
