You often feel emotionally sucked dry, drained at the soul level from always meeting the needs of family, friends and work demands, crippled with anxiety and overwhelm. You’re going through the motions, doing what you “need” to do to “function”. The smallest tasks feel like too much. You are stuck in couch rot, no matter how determined you are to power through. The tasks are all at the top of your mind, and yet you can’t take the steps to get anything done. You know that past trauma is playing a role in how you show up in real time, but you don’t know how to get through it on your own. Willpower alone isn’t getting you by anymore.

Through DBT, EMDR and other modalities, we will walk this journey together, as you begin to sort through the pain and begin to care for yourself. We explore with curiosity, and make space for the healing that you’ve been needing. We will work to heal and craft the life that feels peaceful and out of survival mode.

Actually meshing with a counselor and developing a solid relationship of trust is the most important foundational piece to beginning doing deep work. Frankly, it is impossible without.
