I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental environment in which you can explore what may be interfering with your ability to find true self-expression and engage in meaningful relationships. My work is informed by psychoanalytic concepts within a social justice lens. I believe that we all have capacities for growth and healing. Therapy provides us space to listen more deeply to ourselves, develop insight, and choose a path forward.
I believe that our individual experiences and the social worlds we inhabit shape our unconscious and impact us in ways we are not always aware of. My approach is a good fit for people who are intellectually curious, have tried other approaches and found them insufficient, or are drawn to psychoanalytic ideas and want more depth
I have advanced training in trauma treatment from CHA/Harvard Medical School’s Victims of Violence program, the Massachusetts Institute for Psychoanalysis, where I am completing a four-year psychoanalytic training program, and the Psychodynamic Couples and Family Institute of New England where I have served as faculty.
