Psychoanalysis challenges the life-histories that inhibit our interactions with others. My many years of experience as a psychoanalyst, together with my background in the Humanities in both Venezuela and the U.S., have made me especially attuned to the question of how to embrace and find strength in our difference while remaining engaged with the world.
