I am a clinical play therapist specializing in supporting young children and their families. I help overwhelmed parents create more calm, connection and cooperation in their homes using mindful parenting practices and brain based play therapy techniques. When YOU understand how to help your kid cope with big feelings and tough moments, everybody wins. Raising a resilient kid takes understanding, skill and SUPPORT. Let me help you become the parent your kid needs and deserves.
As a play therapist, I believe that toys are a child's words and play is their language. Children often have difficulty expressing how they feel. Rather than explaining what is bothering them, children use play to communicate. Since play is fun, it is easier for children to express themselves.
As a licensed professional counselor specializing in child and play therapy, I help families find connection, strength and balance. I believe that YOU are the expert on your child, but that sometimes you need support and guidance to fully understand your child's needs and guide them through their lives.
