Before becoming a psychologist, I worked as an educator, creating academic and mental health interventions to help students and families access meaningful accommodations within school settings. This background allows me to see the whole person and understand the role that emotional well-being, learning, and environment play in one's life.
As a former Division I athlete, I also bring personal understanding about the pressures of performance, the impact of injuries, and the often-difficult transition to life beyond sports.
In addition to individual therapy, I enjoy working with families to strengthen communication, deepen understanding, and function more effectively as a system.
