In my private practice, I treat adults, teens and children in individual, couples and/or family psychotherapy. I am particularly experienced in treating depression, anxiety disorders, post traumatic stress disorder and substance/alcohol abuse, as well as issues related to sexual abuse, relationships, divorce, and school-related issues such as academic issues, separation anxiety and bullying.
Because I have training and experience in behavior, cognitive and psychoanalytic psychotherapies, I am able to address with knowledge and compassion a wide assortment of challenging issues that individuals who seek my help so often struggle with.
I earned a doctorate in Clinical & School Psychology from Hofstra University in 1990, and then a Post-doctorate Certificate in Psychoanalysis and Psychotherapy from Adelphi University in 1995. In private practice for more than 30 years, I am a seasoned therapist who will help you address your challenges with respect and dignity.
