Whether you want to clean out your closet, your bedroom, or your whole house, with my support and guidance, I will help you identify goals that are vital, realistic, and achievable. We all have pasts that have shaped who we are and we will certainly explore that, however real change happens when we can recognize our strengths and harness them to make the changes we hope to happen in our lives.
I provide a warm, safe, and non-judgmental space in my work with individuals to explore difficult feelings and life situations. My style is down to earth, conversational and informal.
I won’t “fix” you but I will work collaboratively with you to focus on what is currently going on in your life, blending several theoretical frameworks and techniques alongside hope, directness, and humor, to create the desired changes. I especially enjoy working with mothers and their adult daughters and adult siblings in joint sessions.
In addition to my social work degree, my extensive background as an artist and designer enhances my appreciation for the creativity and uniqueness inherent in my clients, and how they can utilize their own creativity to think outside the box. Allied with the LGBTQ+ community.
