I specialize in the treatment of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD) and related disorders. OCD is characterized by obsessions and compulsions and can cause significant distress and impairment in functioning. An estimated 2-5% of the population, both children & adults, can be affected by OCD. Treatment consists of Exposure and Response Prevention (ERP), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) and mindfulness. These treatment modalities can be highly effective in the reduction of symptoms.
I provide services in the office, home, and in the community. I also offer virtual appointments. Treatment plans are tailored to individual needs - targeting obsessions, compulsions, reassurance seeking behaviors and avoidance behaviors. I work with children, teens, adults, schools, and employers. I have one office location in Mendon, MA.
Other specialties: Pediatric Autoimmune Neuropsychiatric Disorders Associated with Streptococcus (PANDAS) & Pediatric Acute-Onset Neuropsychiatric Syndrome (PANS), Body Dysmorphic Disorder, Social Anxiety Disorder, Trichotillomania, Skin Picking & other body focused repetitive behaviors (BFRBs) and Hoarding Disorder.
