Life can be tough and I believe everyone experiences difficulties at some point in their life. We can become overwhelmed, depressed, angry, anxious and confused about the circumstances in our lives. Sometimes things feel out of control and we want to escape the pain. For some, the tools they have are not working, in fact, their attempts to deal with the pain actually creates more pain. Counseling is a tool that can aid in change and healing. It can provide options to deal more effectively with the pain and solving the problems a person faces.
I have decades of experience in counseling and have had the pleasure of working with a variety of people including adolescents and adults struggling with substance abuse issues, depression, anxiety, anger management, sexual abuse, codependency, trauma and loss. My goal is to provide a safe environment to explore change.
