I have been a psychotherapist for over 25 years working with diverse adolescent and adult clients on an individual basis. I assist clients with developing healthier coping skills for addressing the issues of every day life. Furthermore,as an Existentialist, I feel that it is a human right to work toward developing one's potential and to enjoy one's journey on this planet.
I use appropriate theories and techniques for addressing the needs of the client. This can range from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to a more Eclectic (Combination) Approach. I am adept at working with persons of diversity who have intrapersonal and interpersonal concerns.
I possess a warm quality for establishing a rapport with the client, so that I am modeling a healthy self-acceptance. I allow clients to set their goals of therapy, and where necessary, will assist them with that development. I have performed research and published articles pertaining to mental health.
