I work with individuals experiencing depression and anxiety as they navigate the challenges and transitions that occur throughout early adulthood. Many have also experienced trauma stemming from abuse or from years of complex relationships with parents/caretakers. My goal is to partner with patients to build a safe space where we can process your past experiences and the emotions that come up along the way. We'll also draw from your strengths to find new ways of approaching problems and to boost your confidence in tackling challenges, so that life feels a little easier to navigate.
I primarily use a psychodynamic approach in therapy, which means we'll explore your inner thoughts and feelings to understand how they affect your behaviors and relationships. I find that this approach helps patients develop a deeper understanding of themselves and resolve underlying issues, resulting in long-term relief and improvement.
Since you're here, I'm guessing that you could use a little extra support in your life right now, and I'd be honored to provide it. You don't have to do it all on your own, nor should you. Together, let's figure out how to help you feel better. Let's get you back to who you were meant to be.
