Do you have a child struggling with overwhelming feelings, emotional outbursts, irrational fears or other troubling behaviors? Children need help from adults to navigate their emotional landscape. I know from my own experience as a parent how baffling and scary it can be to help a child in the midst of an hours long tantrum or refusal to go to bed or school. In offering a warm and supportive space for play therapy, my aim is to listen carefully to what a child is communicating through play. All behavior is communication. I serve as a guide and translator.

The playroom is a place in which a child can explore their feelings, including those found to be particularly troubling or messy. In a gradual and unhurried process, a child can grow in self-understanding and confidence in their ability to solve problems in ways that are more mature, creative, responsible, and constructive.

Additionally, I offer parent consultation and ongoing support to those who may feel overwhelmed or stuck in their parenting journey. I provide guidance to help parents navigate the challenges of raising children and promote their own development as caregivers.
