I approach therapy in a very real, conversational, and human way. I am not the therapist aggressively taking notes while you talk or making therapy feel overly clinical. I believe people grow best in spaces where they feel comfortable being themselves while still being challenged in meaningful ways. Peer support played a huge role in my work history and is something I still carry near and dear to my heart, though I now utilize it with stronger clinical boundaries as a therapist. My approach focuses on authenticity, connection, insight, and helping people create lasting change that actually feels realistic and sustainable.
I help individuals navigate trauma, anxiety, depression, addiction, severe mental illness, grief, and major life transitions. I use CBT, DBT, ACT, Motivational Interviewing, and trauma-informed care to help clients build insight, coping skills, emotional regulation, and healthier patterns in a way that feels genuine, collaborative, and human.
Life can get heavy, and sometimes people spend so much time surviving that they forget what it feels like to actually feel okay.
