My years of experience include both teaching and counseling, having worked with all ages in areas such as anxiety, depression, trauma, couples counseling, substance use, grief, disruption in personality, anger management, and low self-worth. In working with adults and couples, I take an eclectic approach to counseling using a variety of theories that would be most beneficial to the client's needs. My hope for all of my clients is to feel safe, seen, and experience the freedom that healing can bring.
My passions, training, and background in therapeutic techniques include Trauma Informed Therapy, Gottman-Method Couples Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, Motivational Interviewing, and Person-Centered Therapy.
