I have provided counseling to children and adolescents with symptoms of anxiety, depression, oppositional defiant disorder, and ADHD. I enjoy working with clients in the LGBTQ+ population, and I also have had training in trauma focused cognitive behavioral therapy.

I have had the opportunity to work with adolescents, adults, and families in both individual and group settings. In my work with adolescents, I have provided care for children and teens who report issues regarding suicide, depression, anxiety, family concerns, and behavioral issues. I have training in art and play therapy and specialize in the unique needs that children and adolescents face. I utilize a strength-based approach with each individual to help them achieve their goals toward wellness. I am a licensed professional clinical counselor-supervisor in the state of Ohio and received her graduate degree in Mental Health Counseling from Asbury Theological Seminary.

Lisa’s focus is in working with clients to build a tool kit based on practical techniques that bolster confidence to cope with the challenges that life presents.

I take an eclectic, person-centered approach using a variety of interventions and theories individualized for each client's needs. I have a Masters in Social Work with a wide range of experience with clients from ages 2 to 75 years old. I specialize in treating childhood based PTSD in adults as well as mental health symptoms associated with Pre-menstrual Dysphoric Disorder. My goal is to help you feel heard, understood, and to find peace and acceptance.
