I am a licensed professional counseling associate with Lionheart Trauma Support Services. Since 2019, I have been working with youth from the ages of 15-18 as a teacher, mentor, and lastly a therapist. Throughout this time, I have worked with individuals who have experienced trauma, grief, depression, addiction, as well as many obstacles that were affecting their lives. I have grown to understand that age has no boundaries when it comes to mental health.

I want to be able to help anyone that is in need of mental health services. I feel that working with children and adults to help with reduction in symptoms that they are not happy with in their life is my purpose.

Experience working with individuals and families and providing services at a hospital outpatient program, inpatient residential program, within the home, community, school and crisis intervention. Bob has had the privilege of working with individuals facing a diverse array of issues, including substance use disorders, trauma, depression, and anxiety. He brings a wealth of expertise and insight to each therapeutic session, fostering a safe and supportive environment for clients to explore and heal.

I am very person-centered in my therapeutic approach. My goal is to meet each client where they are in their life journey and to utilize my education, knowledge and experience to assist each client with reaching their desired goals. I have a master’s degree in clinical mental health counseling, as well as a master’s degree in addiction counseling, and have worked with clients with dual diagnoses. I spent 15 years working with adolescents in a residential setting; 6 of those years being the Director of Clinical Services. I have always had a passion for working with children and adolescents.

Kelsey creates a safe space where clients can explore their emotions, overcome anxiety, and heal from past traumas. With her expertise, she guides clients on a journey of self-discovery, empowering them to face their anxieties and traumas head-on.

I offer a non-judgmental and individualized approach to therapy that values the authentic relationship between therapist and client. I work with children, adolescents, adults, and families. I have a special interest in the topics of trauma, loss, depression, and anxiety. At times, life can be difficult, disappointing, and painful. But I believe that people are resilient. Compassion for all people is what led Sara to begin a career in counseling. After being an educator for 10 years, her calling became clear when experiencing the loss of a parent. “I never want anyone to feel alone in what they are going through.” This was the driving force that helped her succeed in finishing a Master’s degree from Liberty University.

People often struggle with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship conflict, and trauma-related issues. Every client will be warmly welcomed into my office and together we will collaborate to meet goals to help you be the best version of you. To meet these goals, we will use tools from multiple evidenced based interventions.

You may be experiencing pain or feeling depressed or just not feeling quite right, but you at least recognize that things in your life aren't how you want them to be. You need to want to explore your inner you and what may be causing your experience. Honesty is a must and it goes both ways in order to develop the trust needed to conquer the challenges ahead. Because I believe in people’s capacity for growth, change, and healing I am passionate about walking alongside those who are choosing to take steps to work through the challenges that are holding them back. I have had the privilege of shouldering with clients as they navigate the challenges of trauma and abuse, anxiety, depression, stress, grief and loss, life transitions, difficulty with relationships and boundaries, and matters of personal growth.
